World Beer Festival Returns to Columbia for 4th Straight Year

All About Beer Magazine presents World Beer Festival back at Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center this Saturday, January 28, 2012! A celebration of the world beer culture, the 2012 World Beer Festival provides attendees a broad sampling of hundreds of beers, food from a variety of local restaurants, educational sessions by industry experts, and entertainment by local musicians.
Over 100 breweries will be present featuring a variety of beer styles to sample, including pale ales, IPAs, witbiers, kölsch, pilsners, ciders, stouts and many more.The festival challenges attendees to explore the beer varieties and find out what beer style suits their taste. In addition to a variety of foods and beverages, there will performances from local musicians throughout the festival.

Music Line-Up for 2012:
1st Session
12:00 - Dixie Dynamite
2:00 - Brian Conner & His Amazing Friends
2nd Session
6:00 - Devils in Disguise
8:00 - DJ Able One
 Jazz'Men Quartet will be in the VIP Area all day!

Tickets are sold for single sessions. The first session will be held from noon to 4:00 pm, and the second session will start at 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Purchase tickets online or at one of the 2012 ticket outlets.

Hotel rooms are still available for a discounted rate at the Hilton Columbia Center for Friday, January 27. The special is $115.00 per night for a standard room, if attending the Beer Festival. There are hotel rooms available for Saturday night, but no more promotional rooms are available. Rooms will run a normal rate Saturday.
